Henderson, Floyd E.

Upon graduation from VCSC in 1916, Mr. Henderson taught school at Dunn Center and was superintendent of schools in Lawton before enlisting in the National Guard and serving with a medical detachment in England and France. After the war, Henderson moved to Grafton and served as Mayor and was elected to the State House of Representatives. He also served as State Commander of the American Legion, State Commissioner of Veteran Affairs in North Dakota, and Commandant of the North Dakota Soldier's Home in Lisbon, ND. Henderson of Alexandria, Virginia, is now serving as National Commander of the World War I Veterans.
