The VCSU Foundation was founded in 1996. The Foundation serves as the umbrella organization and is classified as a 501(c)(3) organization in accordance with the Internal Revenue Service guidelines. The mission of the VCSU Foundation is to support Valley City State University by involving alumni and friends of the university in activities and private giving that meet the university's needs and advance its welfare. The Foundation supports and coordinates the efforts of the Alumni Association, V-500, Booster Board, and major giving activities.
