WHY SHOULD EMPLOYEES PARTICIPATE IN FACULTY & STAFF GIVING?
As VCSU Employees, we see firsthand the life-changing power of a college education.  Every gift – no matter the amount – goes directly to scholarships for current students.

Giving is a way to support what supports you.  When students succeed, so does VCSU.

A high faculty/staff giving percentage is an endorsement by employees that the University is a worthy place to work for and deserving of their financial investment.  Faculty and staff participation also plays a major role in academic rankings and the University’s overall reputation.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?
Even gifts of $2.50 per pay period adds up to $60 a year.  Image what 100 employees giving just a little could do for a student’s future. 

MAY I DESIGNATE MY GIFT TO ANY AREA OF CAMPUS?
Yes, you can designate your gift to any approved accounts held in the VCSU Foundation (V-500, Viking Booster Club, Annual Fund, or Friends groups)

I ALREADY MADE A GIFT THIS YEAR; DO I HAVE TO MAKE ANOTHER GIFT TO BE A PARTICIPANT?
Thank you for your gift!  Any contribution made to the VCSU Foundation during the fiscal year (July 1 – June 30) makes you a participant.

RECOGNITION AND INCENTIVES

  • Your name will be included in our donor edition published in October of each year.
  • Offices with 90% participation in the campaign by the Viking Day of Giving on November 13, 2025 will be delivered a coffee break treat.
  • BONUS……Faculty and staff that increase their payroll deduction and those making a first-time donation October 1, you will be entered into a drawing for a reserved parking spot for a year.
